The sinking of the Lusitania, the Gulf of Tonkin incident, Iraq I & II, the list goes on… For a lot of the 20th Century, so many wars were started under dubious circumstances.

Here we’ll look at some of the worst examples of times countries sent their best and brightest into battle when, had they been made aware of the full story, they may not have been so eager to lay down their lives.
